August 5, 2012 additions

Another two hundred and sixty new documents added this quarter. Among them:

• A hundred more photos of Jean-Dominique Lajoux, of which three thematic groups on pottery, a buffalo sacrifice in Kon Ngo and the moving series on a school.
• A recently published article on early photographs of the Maa' and Jroo groups from Dông Nai province: Onorato Oddera (1864-1929) and the likeable Maa' - Photographs of an indigenous upland population of Vietnam during French colonial expansion in the early 20th century features a page on this site showing all related documents currently in our database.
• Our favorite picture of the quarter, the one of a Sedang pottery carrier photographed by JD. Lajoux in 1955.
